Students

Welcome, Current Students, to the Division of the Physical Sciences Website

Because the University of Chicago is a large and complex institution located in a vast and diverse city, life and study here can sometimes be as challenging as it is rewarding. But also because it is large and complex, when such moments arise there is a vast array of resources available at the university and throughout the city and greater metropolitan region to which you and your families can turn.

When problems arise the first challenge is nearly always finding information—and finding it quickly. The second challenge is usually getting appropriate help. Our student resources page seeks to provide you with:

  1. essential and immediate information in cases of safety or health emergencies;
  2. links to the most important resources available at the university and in the community that support your safety and well-being as you go about your day-to-day work of study, teaching, and research; and
  3. links to campus information, administrative offices, and community resources which contribute to student life in the classroom and laboratory as well as beyond the Quadrangles.
